2120. Humanity is on the verge of extinction. A colony ship with the last, best hope for survival leaves Earth for a distant planet. They arrive 400 years later, awakening from a cryogenic slumber to start anew. A year after their arrival, they’re discovered by the crew of an interstellar mining ship. They discover that humanity has survived its supposed doomsday, and that they have been forgotten. New World is a game about obsolescence, community, and history. It asks us how we should relate to our past, and what we want to bring into the future.
